Beagle Street and Reassured, the UK’s largest life insurance broker * , have today signed a deal which will see customers unable to take the insurer’s own life cover passed to Reassured’s specialist team for assistance.
Beagle Street offers life and critical illness cover direct to customers via its website and call centre, as well as through selected intermediaries and price comparison websites.
With consumer duty in mind, the insurer wanted to give a route to protection even for those with medical conditions which make its own cover unavailable.
Reassured, who already partner major brands such as SunLife and Go.Compare, was chosen to offer this service thanks to its impressive service for “impaired lives” which supports its own sales business as well as those of partners.
Phil Jeynes, Director of Corporate Strategy at Reassured, comments:
Being able to offer cover for all is at the core of our mentality and we have a mantra of never saying “no” to a customer.
Our dedicated impaired lives team are experts in finding policies for people with all sorts of medical conditions and needs across the whole of the market.
We are thrilled to be able to offer this service to Beagle Street customers.
Mark Mullaney, Head of Partnerships and Distribution for Beagle Street, said:
Our products offer great protection for all sorts of people but of course there are some for whom a different solution is appropriate.
Rather than offer those customers a dead end, we wanted to make sure we passed them to a trusted partner with a proven track record in exceptional customer service.
Reassured stood out thanks to their scale and experience and we are delighted to announce the partnership today.
