Reassured raises £8,000 for partner charity Winston’s Wish at 15-year anniversary celebration.
As Reassured celebrates 15 years in business this year, the leading life insurance broker has selected its first annual charity partner, Winston’s Wish, raising an incredible £8,000 to kick off the partnership in 2024.
The 15 year anniversary party took place at the De Vere Wokefield estate near Reading on the evening of Friday 12th of July, and included a charity raffle which saw Reassured staff winning a range of luxurious prizes in exchange for donations for Winston’s Wish.
The goal was to raise £5,000 and any amount raised would be matched by the company. Reassured is pleased to have greatly exceeded this target, with all donations totalling £8,000 by the end of the night.
Winston’s Wish is a childhood bereavement charity providing advice, support and recourses for grieving children and those who care for them. In 2023, Winston’ Wish helped over 62,000 grieving children and young people via its live chat, email, text and telephone services.
Reassured has always been passionate about charity and fundraising, conscious of our impact on the community, and this has been embedded in our company culture. In the past, many employees have supported worthy causes through food bank donations, bake sales, fitness challenges and shoe box appeals.
Therefore, this year the company launched a dedicated charity committee to spear head our fundraising events and promote our chosen partners, which also includes smaller local charities.
